The Swell Co Story: Healing in Connection
At The Sexual Wellness Collective (Swell Co.), we believe that sexual wellness is not a luxury, an afterthought, or a mechanical function to be fixed. It is a fundamental element of human wholeness, self-expression, and relational vitality.
We brought our practices together to build New England’s premier home for integrative sex therapy and intimacy coaching—a space built on the radical belief that you deserve a sex life and a relationship with your body that feels liberating, authentic, and joyful.
How We Practice Together
While our clinical backgrounds bring unique lenses—from somatic bodywork and perinatal care to religious trauma recovery and reproductive health activism—our underlying philosophy is entirely unified. We don't view you through a lens of pathology or brokenness. Instead, we work collaboratively to dismantle the cultural, relational, and internal barriers standing between you and deep connection.
De-Pathologizing Pleasure & Function: We move far beyond traditional medicalized models that reduce sexual wellness to mechanics or diagnostic codes. Whether navigating desire differences, anxiety, pain, or shifting life stages, we look at the whole person—mind, body, nervous system, and history.
Undoing Cultural & Inherited Shame: So much of what holds us back sexually isn't an individual flaw; it’s the result of societal scripts, purity culture, religious trauma, or rigid expectations. We provide a compassionate, brave container to help you untangle what you were taught from what you actually want.
Somatic & Relational Depth: Healing doesn't happen strictly from the neck up. Our work integrates somatic awareness, relational dynamics, and emotional processing to help you step out of "spectatoring" (staying trapped in your head) and into felt, embodied presence.
Informed, Inclusive & Culturally Responsive: We are explicitly feminist, sex-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming (and identifying), trauma-informed, and polyamory/Kink-knowledgeable. Every identity, body, and relationship constellation is met with deep reverence and absolute safety.

We are clinical sexologists, trauma-informed therapists, and intimacy guides who came together around a shared realization: sex therapy shouldn’t feel sterile, medicalized, or clinical. It should feel deeply human, expansive, and transformative.
Our individual paths into this work were shaped by distinct environments—spanning somatic movement, yoga philosophy, perinatal life transitions, feminist activism, reproductive health, and de-programming systemic cultural and religious beliefs. Yet, as our practices evolved across New England, we found ourselves answering the exact same call. We kept seeing the same story play out: individuals and couples trapped in their heads, trying to perform their way into pleasure, or working to fix a body they felt entirely disconnected from.
Bringing our practices together under Swell Co. was the natural evolution of a completely shared clinical vision. We both work across the full spectrum of intimacy, moving seamlessly between the physical, psychological, and relational dimensions of sexual health.
When you work with us, our combined background shapes every session. We both focus on regulating your nervous system and anchoring you back into your physical senses to quiet performance anxiety. Simultaneously, we both help you unpack the inherited shame, rigid cultural scripts, and unspoken rules that keep you from feeling fully autonomous.
We don't sit across from you as distant authorities prescribing quick fixes or dividing your care into rigid categories. We walk alongside you as warm, grounded partners—helping you untangle where you’ve been, listen to what your body is actually telling you, and step into an authentic, deeply fulfilling relationship with intimacy.
